The Kansas City Chiefs did it again! They took a much-needed lead early on which allowed them to take over the best offense in the league. However, there is still some room for improvement for the men in red. This is something that was directly presented by the star QB Patrick Mahomes, who believes that things might have gone better if it were not for small mistakes. This led to a stunning confession from the 28-year-old.

The victory against the Dolphins marks a 7-2 record for the Chiefs as they do laps around the opposition. In the wake of this win, Mahomes came forward to give his two cents on the game. Though the Chiefs’ offense had been a bit loose in the Sunday game, they were still able to pull off the game with their brilliant display of skills. The offense part, however, is what bothers Patrick Mahomes.

The fact that the Chiefs relied on their defense for the better part of the game was clearly the point of concern for Patrick Mahomes. As the QB sat down for the post-match press meet, the reporter in no time asked Mahomes about the receivers dropping a lot of passes in the game.

The fact that this happened in the last game against the Denver Broncos as well seemed to be glaring evidently at the Chiefs. The reporter wanted to know what the Chiefs did to overcome the barriers in the offense or the steps they might be indulging in.

Patrick Mahomes had a clear-cut answer ready. He believed that how there is no other choice but to keep working through the disappointments and come up better in the next game, which the Chiefs did flawlessly. He gave credit to the defense as the recent game heavily relied on it.

The 2xSB winner honestly said, “It’s me with the timing, it’s them just continue to get catches as much as possible, lucky for us our defense is playing so good so we’re sitting here 7-2 going into the bye. We can get a lot better as an offense and I think if the offense gets to where I think it can be, we’ll be a hard team to beat.”

Even against some of the best offenses in the league, the Chiefs did not waiver and came out with the victory. It all started when Mahomes and the squad took an early lead and it was too late for the Dolphins when they tried to catch up with them in the second quarter. Tua Tagovailoa threw a successful Hail Mary, but it didn’t do much for the Chiefs as they lost with a touchdown.

However, concerns still loom around the Chiefs, because a huge percentage of the points in this game were the courtesy of Harrison Butker, who scored 12 points in a single game. Getting into the red zone has been a problem for a lot of teams lately, the Eagles also mentioned their concerns regarding the same. The recurring theme is bothering Mahomes, and he being a perfectionist, wants to improve the offensive facet of the team.
