Week 11 turned out to be one that ended the dream of a clean run for the Kansas City Chiefs. It was the end of their streak as they now stand 9-1. It was heartbreaking for the Chiefdom. There were hopes of a comeback, but once Josh Allen scored the touchdown at the 2:17 mark in the 4th quarter, it was over. Patrick Mahomes’ wife was disappointed with the defeat.
Brittany Mahomes made it a habit to post an IG story every time they won, but after the loss, she was gloomy. She chose to ignore her feelings instead of showing them after the week 11 game against the Bills. That is a change from the previous times when they won.
After the Chiefs won the week 10 game against the Broncos by 16-14, she posted many photos with the caption, “Still going💯” Brittany was on cloud 9 after Mahomes’s Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 28-18 in the week 7 revenge game. She had posted photos from the stadium, aptly captioning them, “Undefeated in Vegas✔️ 7-0 let’s goooooooo” It had become like a commitment for her. But she abandoned it after the Bills’ loss.

For now, Patrick Mahomes is not thinking about the loss anymore. He is treating it like another defeat. That approach is right. They still have 7 more games to play. Sitting on the top of the AFC East and the conference, they can easily finish on the top. His wife, being his biggest supporter, would be cheering for him to achieve the historic feat.
It remains to be seen how the Chiefs would change their approach. The target is obvious. The 3-peat. That’s the principal goal. And if they do it, it would be historic. Chiefdom trusts them to do it. Will they be able to achieve it? We’ll find out soon.
