Patrick Mahomes’s mother is quite busy splitting her time between football fields and basketball courts. Athleticism runs in the Mahomes family. It’s like all the Mahomes kids are building a sports dynasty of their own. And then there’s the proud mom, Randi, who makes sure she’s there to witness her kids’ journeys. One of her kids is currently killing at basketball. Oh, and speaking of basketball, Lions QB Jared Goff might be stepping into the WNBA world. But more on that later.

So here’s the scoop. Most of us are familiar with Mia Bliss, Patrick Mahomes’s half-sister. Randi often shares pictures of her on Instagram, and Mia is frequently seen in the stands cheering on her brother. And just like her brother, Mia’s got athletic brilliance, too. Mom Randi just shared a glimpse of it on Saturday. Sharing a picture from her school game, she wrote, “Tournament Day!! Won 2 games. Ready for game 3.” And Mia made sure she made her mom proud by winning the game. Patrick’s mom celebrated her daughter’s win with her followers posting a sweet picture from the after game.

It looks like Mia is going all Caitlin Clark‘s way, who, by the way, is a big fan of her brother’s team. Thirteen-year-old Mia doesn’t just have a knack for basketball -she’s an all-rounder, trying her hand at every sport she can. And thanks to Randi, followers get regular updates on which sport little Mia is rocking at any given time.

Although Mia still has time to decide which sport to make her career in -or if she even wants a career in sports at all. It could be so wholesome for her brother, Patrick Mahomes, who has been vocal about wanting to bring the WNBA to Kansas City. “We want to get basketball to Kansas City in general and then the WNBA,” Mahomes had stated before.

Now, QB Jared Goff has also entered the same picture with his latest move.

Lions star Jared Goff, along with his wife Christen, is stepping into the WNBA world. Goff has joined a group that’s making serious efforts to bring a WNBA team back to Detroit. The NBA’s Detroit Pistons owner, Tom Gores, announced on Friday that he, along with Sheila Ford Hamp and her husband, has submitted a bid to bring women’s basketball back to the Motor City.

For the WNBA, this is home, and our bid represents an unprecedented opportunity for the league to come full circle and effect a long-hoped-for Detroit homecoming. No city is more prepared to embrace the team as a community asset that drives unity and common ground,” said Gores. The city once had a WNBA team called the Detroit Shock, which later moved to Tulsa and is now operating as the Dallas Wings, based in Arlington, Texas. So now that Jared Goff is following Patrick Mahomes’s lead, he’s stepping up to help Detroit reclaim its spot in the game.

Michigan’s governor, Gretchen Whitmer, is also on board with this idea. If all goes in their favor, Tom Gores would be the majority owner. The bid also includes a state-of-the-art practice facility and headquarters, open 24/7, complete with courts, locker rooms, and even a public sports center. Everyone in the group is trying their best to bring women’s basketball back to the city.
