It’s happening. Patrick Mahomes and his squad had just landed in Las Vegas, and many Elvis Presley impersonators were there to welcome the Kansas City Chiefs. But when everything was going right for the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, he was caught in a bit of a crunch due to some mishap with his father, Pat Mahomes Sr. What happened?
The Chiefs just uploaded a video on their X account. Ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, Mahomes could use all the “me” time he could get. The quarterback could also appreciate peace of mind before such a mega event. But here he is, taking it one day at a time. Despite all the adversities, he landed in Vegas looking fine.

We understand the gravitas of this Super Bowl because a video of the Chiefs players landing in Vegas alone amassed about half a million views. Imagine the viewership the Super Bowl will get this year. When Travis Kelce touched down, a bunch of Elvis impersonators welcomed him and the team. It’s safe to say that Vegas is in high spirits, and the “Death Star” will be lit up (hopefully not like Star Wars) in the upcoming days.
But before this happens, Mahomes has more pressing issues to sort out.
Troubles find Patrick Mahomes and his father
The NFL fans got the disappointing news of Patrick Mahomes Sr. getting arrested for a DWI. He was arrested in Texas 8 days before the Super Bowl. This was his 3 time getting a DWI and his case was booked into the Smith County Jail in Tyler, Texas. Some sources believe that he has more than 3 DWIs.

He got bailed for $10,000 on Sunday. Per sources, he got his second DWI in 2018 due to which he spent 40 days in jail. He split up with Randi Mahomes back in 2006. Patrick Mahomes’ father has always looked up to him and has utmost faith in his son. Maybe him being out of jail might ease the Chiefs QB’s mind.
