After witnessing Mahomes make an extraordinary, superman-like dive for a crucial first down, Jason Kelce took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts, posting, “Air Mahomes,” comparing the Chiefs QB to none other than basketball legend Michael Jordan. The incredible moment happened when Mahomes put defenders on skates, dodging and weaving before diving headfirst to secure a first down.

Meanwhile the interesting comments, Kelce’s comparison highlights the impact Mahomes has on the field. Much like Jordan, Mahomes delivers in clutch moments and knows how to put on a show.

Patrick Mahomes shines as Chiefs dominate Saints 26-13

Patrick Mahomes had another stellar night as the Kansas City Chiefs took down the New Orleans Saints, 26-13. Mahomes threw for 331 yards, and while his red-zone efficiency wasn’t perfect, he leaned on key players like Travis Kelce and the recently reunited JuJu Smith-Schuster. Kelce grabbed nine catches for 70 yards, while JuJu, stepping up in the absence of Rashee Rice and Isaiah Pacheco, made some crucial plays, leading the Chiefs’ receiving yards.
