Patrick Mahomes had just signed with Adidas and saw a bigger opportunity. Why not switch to Adidas and include his own brand, “Gladiator,” in the deal? That casual conversation turned into something huge. By 2024, Texas Tech made the jump to Adidas, signing a 10-year deal. And in a moment that meant everything to Mahomes, his Gladiator logo appeared on the team’s jerseys for a home game against Colorado.

That moment turned out to be extremely special for the QB, who later said, “Seeing my own logo on the Texas Tech uniform I put so much blood, sweat and tears in is one of the most meaningful off-field accomplishments of my career.” Now on the field, Patrick Mahomes is refueling himself back for a Super Bowl once again.
