Back in August 2020, the NFL’s golden boy inked a lucrative 10-year, $450 million extension deal with the Kansas City Chiefs during the offseason. Then, in September 2023, the Chiefs reworked his expensive contract deal, increasing it to $208.1 million for the 2023-2026 period, making him the highest-paid QB.

Soon after signing the deal with the Chiefs in 2020, Patrick Mahomes first invested his money in land. Just a few months later, the NFL MVP quarterback and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, bought an 8-acre property for $400,000 in the affluent Cass County, Missouri, Kansas City area.

The future Hall of Famer also revealed his desire to build a house in Kansas City during Netflix’s “Quarterback” series. “I actually decided to get the land, to get ready to build that right when I signed my contract here in Kansas City,” the NFL star explained. “I signed a 10-year extension because I knew I wanted to be here. So right when I did that, I was like, ‘I’m gonna be here, I might as well build the exact house I want.’”

According to the New York Post, Mahomes’s massive mansion began construction on the grounds in 2021 and was completed in February 2023. Undoubtedly, the finished home is truly magnificent, with plenty of extravagant amenities. It’s no wonder that Mahomes’ opulent dwelling would make even the royal family jealous.

In addition to this, the high school sweethearts’ lavish mansion boasts a trophy cabinet, a private pool, a modern home gym, an extensive fish tank, and an indoor basketball court.

Apart from that, the Mahomes couple’s contemporary kitchen is another highlight of the house. The modern kitchen features a white and gray marbled island, black cabinets, chrome hardware, and matching vintage appliances.

However, the NFL couple’s home interior is as impressive as the exterior. Brittany, a former soccer player and co-owner of the KC Current, expressed her excitement in the Netflix quarterback docuseries. “Finally, we are going to have a home that we built and has everything we could have ever dreamed of having,” Brittany stated.

The NFL’s most buzzing couple offered their fans a glimpse of the then-unfinished house on the Netflix show, but they have since avoided revealing the extravagant estate online.

In 2019, Patrick Mahomes spent $1.8 million on a three-bedroom, four-bathroom renovated ranch house in Kansas City. Additionally, in March 2020, Mahomes invested $3.37 million in a four-bedroom, 7,800-square-foot abode in Westlake, Texas.
