Not too long after his Las Vegas Super Bowl triumph, Patrick Mahomes has handed over a part of his contract for the team. According to NFL Insider Adam Schefter, “Patrick Mahomes will be restructuring his contract to create an additional $21.6 million worth of salary-cap space for the Chiefs as they aim to become the first NFL team to three-peat, per league sources.”

This means he is restructuring his contract to give the team more financial flexibility, create a better squad, and gain a chance to conquer the Super Bowl for the third consecutive time. Mahomes signed a massive 10-year deal worth $450 million in 2020, making him the highest-paid player in the league.

His original cap hit for 2024 was set at $58.6 million, but with the restructuring, it’s now estimated to be $37 million for 2024, $66.2 million for 2025, and $68.6 million for 2026. This potential salary restructuring information has been brought to light on a special occasion, where Patrick and his wife, Brittany Mahomes are all set to celebrate their Anniversary!

On March 12th, the Mahomes couple, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, shares a very special day of their lives. The couple, who met at their Texas high school and began dating in the 10th grade, celebrated their second marriage anniversary, with the quarterback uploading a series of photos to honor their love. In his Instagram post, one photo included Brittany holding their daughter Sterling in her arms (the picture is from Sterling’s recent third birthday celebration at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden).

In the second picture, the couple is seen proudly walking away from the Allegiant Stadium after the Super Bowl win. In the third snap, Mahomes is seen kissing his wife on her head, and at last, the QB wrapped up the beautiful pictures with another adorable shot of the family of four from their Disney trip. He shared these lovely pictures with equally beautiful captions for his lady love. The 3-time Super Bowl champ wrote, “Year 2! Happy anniversary!” with two red hearts.

On this day, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony in Maui, Hawaii, two years ago. The Mahomes couple shares two children, Sterling and Bronze.
