From high school sweethearts to a family of five, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have certainly come a long way. And amongst the many things that the couple follows to keep their marriage fresh and happy is humor. Back in 2012 when the two first started dating, they jokingly set a Christmas tradition which Mahomes later in 2020 explained, We would joke around it was almost like the movie ‘Four Christmases.’ We had to go to each one of our family members’ Christmas parties, and it contains a whole day of going from house to house trying to make sure that we see everybody.” Safe to say, the “normal teenage kid showing up at the family dinner type stuff and being nervous and everything” made an impression. Then,

There was their GQ Couples Quiz in 2023 when the adorable love birds gave us some moments to go aww and some moments to laugh; like Patrick answering what Brittany likes the most about him in “My smile is beautiful,” cracking his wife up. And the one where he had to mention her worst habit and without losing a second, the Kansas City star went “snoring!” Or the part where he mentioned that the best compliment Brittany had ever given to him was his “big biceps” to add some more snorting laughs to the interview. Today, thirteen years and a third diaper-changing marathon later, the jokes are still rolling out fresh, courtesy of wife Brittany Mahomes because if marriage is a team sport, consider this a playful fumble in the red zone.

Brittany Mahomes has been quite busy sharing her life updates with her 2.1 M Instagram followers. One update that has all of us wondering is the one where she posted IG story with a trailer window with “B.M.” printed out and glued. The very next story had a similar photo, only the paper read, “P.M.” Now if you’ve understood, BM is for Brittany and PM is for Patrick. The caption on the latter only added to the joke as she wrote, “Kicked him out of my trailer🤣.” The QB’s crime? Unclear.

However, it does come as a surprise since just hours ago, she shared a story showing the NFL icon holding her wearable breast pumps. She added yet another funny caption to it: “Work trip with my boo & he’s got the goods🤣” Of course, their newborn daughter Golden’s requirements come first. Then why the separate trailers? Probably her work schedule.

On Thursday, Brittany Mahomes kicked off her “Team Britt” era with the first commercial shoot, flexing her CEO-mom hustle. She posted mirror selfies with her squad probably working on some Kansas City Current project which they are co-owners of.

Brittany, 29, gave birth to Golden on January 12, just days before Patrick’s playoff grind. Yet here they are: filming ads, juggling three kids, and roasting each other online. However, the mood turned as now they are spending some alone quiet time with Brittany sharing another IG story with her boo with the caption “date night” followed by a white heart that matched their outfit shades. But before the date night, the 3-time Super Bowl Champion had some more news to drop to a young fan.

On Monday, he crashed a Texas Tech basketball game, high-fiving student Blake Porter after a viral 94-foot putt. Fast-forward to Thursday’s Today Show: Blake nearly recreated the shot, then Mahomes blindsided him.

Patrick’s pivot from football to Fairy God-quarterback

The Texas Tech senior finance student and basketball player Porter had already received Apple headphones, an iPad and a cooler as he mentioned on his appearance on the Today show as he tried to recreate his 94-ft shot only to miss by inches in two turns. However, there was more for him in the deal as Patrick surprised Porter with more good news.

“I know you think you know what you won, but what you don’t know is that Texas Tech Athletics is going to be paying your tuition next fall,” Patrick announced via video on Today Show. “And on top of that, Adidas and I are going to make you an honorary member of Team Mahomes. So we’ll be sending a nice care package your way to support your golf game.” For a guy who’s thrown 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards this season, this assist might be his sweetest yet. But let’s rewind.

Blake’s putt wasn’t just luck—it was a 94-foot moonshot, longer than a Mahomes’ bomb to Tyreek Hill (you guys remember, right?). The crowd erupted. Patrick, courtside, shoulder-bumped him like a TD celebration. “[It’s] bigger than the game,” rapper Master P once said. For Blake, it was life-changing.

By Thursday, Blake was on national TV, shaking as his putt veered inches wide. Then came Patrick’s video bomb: free tuition, Adidas swag, and Team Mahomes membership. “Oh my gosh!” Blake responded, hugging his mother. His mom? Speechless. Besides, Patrick’s loyalty to his alma mater, Texas Tech, isn’t new.

His NIL collective, Team Mahomes, has backed student-athletes since 2023. But this? Pure magic. Between feedings, filming, and football, Patrick’s mastered the pivot. Can the man who dodges blitzes and dad jokes ever slow down? As Hemingway wrote, “Life breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places.” For Mahomes, the breaks are just setups for the next highlight.

So, what’s tougher: surviving Brittany’s trailer lockdown or nailing a 94-foot putt? For Patrick, it’s just another week in the playbook. But we’ll leave you with this: How does he keep scoring wins when life’s throwing Hail Marys? And yes, we are hinting at his wife who knows just how to brighten up his and her followers’ day!
