Mere days before the Super Bowl, the Mahomes family received an unsettling news. Pat Mahomes Sr. the former MLB pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, was arrested for DWI. A sad development for the entire family, but both sons are dealing with this information in their own ways.
Patrick Mahomes will be playing in his 4th Super Bowl in the last five years, soon. Despite such a massive game upcoming, the QB, has spoken up about the entire ordeal. He took the route of focusing on the challenge ahead. On the other hand, younger son Jackson Mahomes is staying mum.

“He’s doing good for whatever the situation is”, said the two-time Super Bowl winner to the media, before the game. The situation is not in favor of senior Mahomes. This is the sixth time that Mahomes Sr. has been arrested on a DWI charge in the past 12 years, convicted only once.

But the 28-year-old QB will be focusing on the Super Bowl as of now only. However, the media members wanted to know his thoughts and feelings about the entire ordeal. “It’s a family matter, so I’ll just keep it to the family. I’ll just leave it at that”, said the Kansas City Chiefs superstar sternly, putting the issue to bed.
The quarterback has the Lombardi Trophy and the San Francisco 49ers to deal with right now. But, younger brother Jackson, who himself has had a run-in with the law, is taking a different route.

The social media sensation did not touch upon his battery charge from last year. Even though he is staying active on Instagram and TikTok. And it seems he is following a similar suit with his father’s situation as well. But with a slight tweak.

Jackson is completely shut out this time. Since his father’s arrest and then bail, the 23-year-old has not posted anything on either of the social media platforms. Though, he won’t be missing the Super Bowl and is expected to be at the Allegiant Stadium to support his brother.
