Pat Sr’s gone full-on family mode, sharing a bunch of adorable pics of his daughter-in-law Brittany Mahomes and her star hubby, Patrick Mahomes, and their cuties. With a caption that’s all kinds of feels—“Happy birthday to my lovely daughter-in-law, Britt. Hope you have a great day.” — Pat Sr. just reminded us how awesome family celebrations can be.

Brittany, who turned 29 on Aug. 31, kicked off the birthday vibes early with a chill dinner surrounded by friends and her football star man. The pregnant KC Current co-owner gave fans a sneak peek into the festivities on her IG Stories, and let’s just say, it looked like a blast.

On August 30, the Chiefs QB’s wife dropped a snap of her and her girlies at a fab restaurant, with balloons proudly declaring the big 2-9. “Birthday dinner with my girlies,” she captioned the pic, tagging her friends Melissa Mathews and Lyndsay Bell. Those menus with ‘Britt’s Birthday’ written on them? Total vibe.

Next up was a shot of the dinner table, flaunting vases of flowers and candles. “And my lover @patrickmahomes,” the mom of three wrote, tagging her man and giving him a shout-out. With a third baby on the way and their two cuties, Sterling Skye, 3, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 21 months, the celebration was definitely a family affair.

The birthday bash wrapped up with a stunning cake—cream icing, purple and gold leaf, candles, and sparklers galore. Plus, bowls of dessert topped with cotton candy? Total win.

June 16 saw millions honoring their fathers, but the three-time Super Bowl champ took a pass on posting anything about Pat Sr. This ain’t the first time Mahomes kept his distance from his father’s spotlight. Last year, when Pat Sr. faced a DWI arrest, the 28-year-old chose to keep things “in the family,” dodging public discussion.

Pat Mahomes Sr.’s had a rough history with the law, including multiple DWI arrests and jail time. Perhaps this troubled past might explain why Patrick Mahomes keeps things low-key on social media.
