Following Sunday’s exhilarating showdown, Patrick Mahomes responded with a cryptic update targeting a Buffalo Bills player. The Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs confronted each other at Highmark Stadium. The Chiefs clinched the AFC championship spot for the sixth consecutive time. Interestingly, Mahomes stole the limelight in the first half with his touchdown, leading the team to a 27-24 win against the Bills. The quarterback took this victory as an opportunity to respond to an old question by a Bills player.

His wife, Brittany Mahomes, and brother, Jackson Mahomes, supported the star quarterback’s reaction, demonstrating the understanding in the Mahomes clan. But to whom is Mahomes referring, and what did he write?

The star quarterback posted photos of himself on Instagram to commemorate the win. This first photo was from the stadium post-game, where he donned the Chief’s uniform and looked pumped up for the game. The other picture is from the matchup, captioned “Good Luck.

Brittany Mahomes, a former soccer player, expressed her pride by writing, “MY BOYYYYY,” followed by a fire emoji. This reaction showed how supportive these high school sweethearts are for each other. Brittany and Mahomes’ younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, have expressed their love and admiration for Mahomes in every way. He wrote, “LFG!!!!! BRO BRO!!”

This post alludes to Bills OL Dion Dawkins’ January comment, in which Dawkins warned Mahomes about the postseason environment in Buffalo. He said, “We’re having two back-to-back playoff games at home.” He added that it’s time for the Bills to eat wings and wish “good luck” to the Chiefs. But by clinching the victory, it seemed the Chiefs had proved that nothing can stop you if you are determined to win. Mahomes’ performance in the Sunday showdown was incredible.

Although it was a home advantage for the Bills, the star quarterback gracefully handled the situation. He responded to the pressure with a clutch performance, with two touchdown passes to Travis Kelce, where he found Kelce in the end zone for the two scores in the game. This move has inked their name as the top TE-QB duo in the NFL record books. With this move, the duo has surpassed the record of Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady as the most-earned touchdowns in history, tallying 15.

Interestingly, the star quarterback achieved another feat, surpassing Drew Brees’ TD pass record in the playoffs. The X post of the Chiefs shed light on this massive feat as it reads, “Mahomes has 38 career TD passes in the playoffs.” It added that Brees holds 37 TD passes, the sixth most in the NFL.
