Patrick Mahomes‘ brother, Jackson Mahomes, is making headlines again! After sparking rumors of being in a relationship with Travis Kelce‘s former girlfriend Kayla Nicole, Jackson’s love story has taken a completely new turn.

In a recent Instagram story of Jackson Mahomes on August 25, 2024, the TikToker shared a cozy selfie with his now rumored girlfriend, Shyanne Blankenship. In the snap, the two can be reportedly seen in a hotel room, as they pose in front of a mirror. In addition to that, Blankenship can also be seen holding Jackson’s hand as they appear ready for an outing.

This story might end the swirling dating rumors between Jackson and Nicole, which started when QB Mahomes’ brother stated to Nicole – “You ate with this fit,” calling her look “very demure!” Before that, Kelce’s former partner showcased her outfit while out in New York City, captioning the post: “Not in Ibiza. (Featuring me and my delicious bag).”

In those series of photos uploaded on Instagram, Nicole looked stunning “in a cropped T-shirt and leather boots by Miu Miu and a beige pleated skirt.” As many fans commented on the fitness model’s post, Jackson being her IG follower too shared an alleged “flirty” comment on her look, leading to controversy as well as dating rumors. But this isn’t the first time that has ignited these rumors about the two.

Back in December last year, when Kelce was dating Taylor Swift, many wanted to know how Nicole was dealing with all that. So, in order to give them all a befitting reply, the model wrote, “Studies show that people who mind their business are 135% happier than those who don’t. Some of y’all should try it.” Appreciating the post once again, Jackson commented, “So pretty!” This made Nicole reply to his comment, saying, “Thanks Jack!” with a blushing emoji.

According to the US Weekly, Jackson even faced “somewhat of a rocky relationship with his own brother and his wife over the years.” This was speculated when in Vegas before the Super Bowl, Jackson spent time with the model. However, it allegedly did not fit well with Brittany Mahomes, who was earlier unfollowed by Nicole.

She reportedly “turned away Jackson when he attempted to enter her VIP area at Drai’s nightclub in a video posted to TikTok the following day.” All these build tension amid the Kansas City Chiefs QB’s family as well as sparked dating rumors between the two. However, now with this recent post, Jackson at least clarified that he isn’t into Nicole; and that they are probably just friends! Besides the 24-year-old, Nicole also earlier opened up about her dating preferences.

After her long 5-year relationship with Kelce, she’s now ready to explore new horizons, as Nicole expressed, “I’ll never say never, but I fully, wholeheartedly believe that I am out of the athlete stage.” However, she mentioned that she isn’t closing the door completely for other men with power. The model emphasized, “I do think that I am attracted to men in positions of power and I also think that those types of men are attracted to me.”

So, all in all, she’s no longer content with the typical WAG lifestyle, instead focusing on what truly matters to her. And for rumors surrounding her and Jackson Mahomes, Nicole is yet to make any comment. Till now, as per the reports, she isn’t dating anyone!
