The athlete’s love for the singer had shone through a couple of years ago at a date night concert with his wife, Brittany. However, it looks like the 28-year-old has caught the artist’s attention again.

Now, years after they had first met, the 30-year-old ended up giving the father of two a surprising shout-out on his social media. It had come shortly after Brown received an unexpected gift from the star at his house. In a story to Instagram, Kane Brown shared a snap of a customized Hook & Albert travel bag that he had received from the Kansas City Chiefs star, Patrick Mahomes.

The gift ended up being a black leather bag from the quarterback’s collaboration with Adidas and even featured his initials on it. Apart from sharing a picture of it, the country singer also tagged the 28-year-old and added, “Appreciate U Bro!” 

No one had seen it coming. However, it looks like the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has built quite a close friendship with one of his favorite country artists. The gift might have been a surprise to some, but not to all as the 28-year-old has proved to be an astounding hype man for the singer at a concert just a few years ago.

How Patrick Mahomes’ date night turned into an ever-lasting friendship with Kane Brown

In 2021, Patrick Mahomes was turning 26 and wanted to have a low-key date night with his wife, Brittany. While the couple had chosen to head to a country concert the day before his birthday, it wound up turning into a much bigger night for the quarterback. At the T-Mobile Center, the couple saw Kane Brown performing. They seemed to enjoy their time in the crowd for a while. The excitement increased when the now 28-year-old got called on stage by the singer.

He might have been awkward at first. However, it did not take the father of two long before Mahomes drove the crowd insane. The quarterback egged the audience on the cheer on Brown. While it seemed to be an unlikely friendship, the 30-year-old chose to play his hit song, ‘Famous Friends’, as the athlete walked onto the stage.
