It’s a double celebration time in the Patrick Mahomes household! After the Chiefs clinched the magnificent victory 23-14 against the Texans, the NFL QB sent lovely wishes to his mom Randi. After taking another step towards a historic three-peat with the latest win, Chiefs star QB had some special announcements post-game.
Soon after mom Randi’s post went viral on the internet which featured her snap with all her 3 grandkids namely Sterling, Bronze, and Golden in a street sign, the NFL SB champion reflected on his beloved mom’s plan for her special day during post press conference. It seems that Patrick, 29, found the perfect person to take care of his 2 daughters and 1 son.
First of all, Mahomes wished his mom her 49th birthday, saying “It’s her birthday, so happy birthday Mom.” Besides this, the AP All-Pro honoree expressed his children’s affection for his mom. “She’s Grandi, is what she calls herself. And our kids love her.” Enthralled at this moment, Patrick Mahomes also expressed his gratitude to his mom. “And she’s been a huge instrumental part of my entire life, taking me to those baseball games,” he added further.

Not only this, he emphasized his mom’s picture that was taken with the sign featuring his three kids’ names while disclosing his mom’s plan on her special day. “And she takes a picture with that sign. Golden Road is where I played baseball growing up. So those are the things that you’ll forever remember, those moments you have with your parents. And she’s here today. I’m sure she’ll be ready to take care of these grandkids,” he stated further. Interestingly, he disclosed his mom’s plan after he and his wife Brittany Mahomes welcomed their daughter, Golden Raye, on Jan 12.
Amidst the celebration of the newborn’s arrival, the matriarch of the Mahomes family grabbed attention with a touchy IG post on Jan 16. “I drove past this sign in my hometown, and y’all know I just had to stop for a picture. How fitting is this??? I’m now a Grandi x3, and my heart couldn’t be more full—Sterling, Bronze, and now Golden! Feeling so blessed,” she wrote in her post caption.
A delighted grandmom of three kids was spotted posing at the corner of Sterling and Golden streets in Tyler, Texas. During that moment, she was also seen holding a bag that had Patrick’s son’s name, ‘Bronze’, on it. Interestingly, Randi’s picture with her grandkids’ names showcased her adoration for them. Impressively, NFL QB’s mom’s birthday plan came after she paid tribute to her late mother Debbie Bates on her special day.
