The loving couple has two adorable children, two-year-old Sterling Skye and Lavon Mahomes, who turned one this November. Accompanying the loving family are two precious souls: Silver and Steel.

Dogs are always considered a man’s best friend, and having two is better than one. Siver is a Cane Corso adopted by the couple recently, and Steel is his bigger brother. Silver is a pit bull gifted by Mahomes to his loving wife in a beautiful gesture on Valentine’s Day. Well, today is Steel’s special day!

Although it’s terrible news for an intruder, these breeds are the family’s best friends and love them to death. Today marks the eighth birthday of the bigger brother, Steel. 

In a loving gesture, Brittany Mahomes posted a story on his Instagram handle. She shared his picture and addressed the flamboyant dog, “Happy Birthday to this dude!!” and added a heart emoji in the end. She also tagged Patrick Mahomes and Steel and Silver’s official Instagram page in the story.

Patrick Mahomes is preparing for the next battle at the Arrowhead but reposted the story on his Instagram page as he can’t miss wishing his best friend a happy birthday. This auspicious occasion should have lit up his mood before facing the Buffalo Bills.
