The year 2024 has arrived! Astonishingly, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals on the last day of 2023. And the quarterback Patrick Mahomes finally got a reason to celebrate after their devastating loss to the Raiders. Not only the quarterback but the entire team looked satisfied to have secured the 8th consecutive AFC West division title.

Earlier Mahomes said he was a “little disappointed” because he and his wife couldn’t participate in the Christmas Day celebration due to the upset against the Raiders. However, now as they defeated their long-term rival Bengals with eight points, the reigning MVP got the chance to welcome the New Year in a happy yet stylish way with his wife Brittany Mahomes.

Brittany Mahomes shared a series of photos on her Instagram account on Monday, showcasing her December 31 celebration. The IG post captioned, “Happy New Year✨,” shows the couple at a party in cozy poses. In one of the photos, Patrick can be seen adorably looking at Brittany as the duo posed for a selfie.

The former soccer player wore a sparkling black minidress with a silver clutch and a festive white color “Happy New Year” headband, while Patrick sported a patterned shirt, a silver chain & bracelet, and a backward baseball cap. Their New Year 2024 bash indeed went off in style!

NFL enthusiasts online also appeared to be loving the fresh pictures of the couple. However, the entry of 2024 was the only celebration on the plate of the Chiefs, their massive 25-17 victory over the Bengals also added to their festive mood. Now, the men in red will be looking forward to the crucial playoff games and aim to make a mark.

The Chiefs have secured the third seed in the AFC playoffs, and the outcome of their upcoming game against the Chargers won’t change that. The AFC’s Wildcard weekend will feature three games.

The fourth seed hosts the fifth seed, the third seed hosts the sixth seed, and the second seed hosts the seventh seed. Therefore, looking at the probability of the Chiefs hosting various teams, the stats are as: Dolphins (47% chance), Bills (18% chance), Colts (17% chance), Texans (14% chance), and Steelers (4% chance).

So, all in all, the Phins have the best chance to face the Chiefs, but if they lose to the Bills, Buffalo would become the sixth seed, and the Chiefs could face them if another specific game outcome occurs, such as Baltimore defeating Pittsburgh, and Titans defeating the Jaguars.
