August 8, 2024, was a very “happy” day for Randi Mahomes. “Bumped into a friend who said I looked very refreshed since retiring. Best compliment to me. (smiling emoji) Happy Day.” Patrick Mahomes’ mother posted this on her official X account. As earlier she felt gloomy after leaving her 20 years of career, this is indeed the best compliment she could get. But wait, there’s more to her happiness.
As Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is focused on practice in St. Joseph, his family decided to enjoy a fun outing. Momma Mahomes shared a story on her Instagram, perfectly capturing Jackson Mahomes holding his sister Mia Randall’s hand while they walked, with Mia looking back at the camera for a quick snap. In the story, Randi captioned it, “Happiest Day of the Year.” But her joy didn’t stop there!
The mother of three also posted a picture on her official Instagram account with the caption, “Best day this year.” We see Randi sitting behind Brittany Mahomes in an open vehicle snap. She wasn’t alone – Patrick’s daughter Sterling sat on her granny’s lap, looking at the camera, while Mia peeked into the frame from the side as Randi took a selfie. Brittany, with a smiling face, has her son Bronze on her lap, and Jackson Mahomes also manages to squeeze into the shot, with his eyes visible behind Brittany, who is sitting beside him.

The family love didn’t stop there. As Randi uploaded this picture on her IG account, she got love from her sons Patrick and Jackson, as well as from her daughter-in-law, Brittany. In the post’s comment section, the quarterback’s son dropped two red hearts, while Brittany commented with three white hearts adorning the picture. On the other hand, Jackson, who enjoyed the outing, wrote, “So fun! Love you!!”
Although it’s not known where the Mahomes family went for their outing, it is speculated that Texas residents Randi, Mia, and Jackson are currently in Kansas City, Missouri, uniting with Brittany and the children. This speculation arose from a comment made by Randi’s friend, Joslyn Snead, who wrote, “So many good memories resident. so glad you’re in town,” as Snead is a Kansas City, Missouri.

Uniting with Brittany and the kids must have been a great and joyful day for Randi, especially since she had been waiting a long time for this moment.
Randi Mahomes missed the kids when Patrick lived her dreams!
On June 27, Randi Mahomes spilled the beans by revealing her favorite destination on an Instagram rapid-fire wheel. She, without any hesitation, shared that she always wanted to go to Europe, as the 52-year-old had “never been there.” However, a couple of days later, her son Patrick Mahomes and his family went for a four-week-long vacation to the same place. While Randi wasn’t a part of that trip, she was quite happy to see her quarterback son go on a European adventure.
However, as a mother and grandmother, she felt a pang of longing when she looked at pictures of her family, especially adorable Sterling and Bronze. Therefore, sharing two babies in a collage on her IG, Randi wrote on Juneteenth day, “I love my grand babies so much. Miss them lots & love their vacation pics!! Happy 4th!!!”
