The star CB’s foundation, the Pat Surtain II Foundation, has been instrumental in these efforts. Last year, the foundation held a Game Plan Pitch Day, where Title I high schools like George Washington and Manual High competed for grants to fund their S.T.E.A.M rooms. Thanks to these $50,000 grants, students now have access to advanced technology. These dedicated spaces are a great help to the students’ academic pursuits.
