The legendary 13-season NFL career of Jason Kelce has come to an end. His retirement rumors have now been confirmed, as the Philadelphia Eagles center took the podium at Monday’s press conference, and made the announcement about the same. Now all heads have turned to the question of what is next for Jason Kelce.

In the latest episode of Monday, Pat McAfee on his show “The Pat McAfee Show,” reacted to Jason Kelce’s emotional retirement announcement. He and his team started off praising Kelce with a huge round of applause and honor for his “legendary career.”

The former NFL punter expressed, “Jason Kelce is retiring from the NFL and we’d like to say hey Jason way to go bub. Jason what a run, what an absolutely legendary career a lot of people even centers and everybody has him down as the greatest Center to ever play football.

McAfee continued praising him, stating that people may find some faults due to his playing style, but he is undeniably considered one of the greatest centers by everyone. Now, people are also discovering his personal side – his life as a family man, father, and husband. He also highlighted that being an Ohio native, Jason represents the NFL and is now embraced by the entire world.

 

The 36-year-old NFL analyst also mentioned that on behalf of his program, “You done damn good Jason Kelsey and we can’t wait for the next chapter and what he does because the world is literally sitting at his fingertips whatever he wants to do is possible and I can’t wait to watch.” So, what’s next for Kelce? Well, it seems ESPN, Amazon Prime, and Fox are eyeing him at the moment!

Jason Kelce is stepping toward a possible TV career.

Jason Kelce is exploring potential opportunities for a TV career as he meets with ESPN and FOX Sports during his time in Las Vegas. Despite not officially announcing his decision to play in 2024 at that time, the six-time All-Pro, NFL veteran, kept himself busy to test the waters for TV opportunities.

In February, Kelce, known for his popular sports podcast, and media presence, engaged in preliminary discussions with TV networks. CBS, NBC, and Amazon have already expressed interest ahead of his NFL career. He met ESPN and FOX Sports and also has an existing relationship with Amazon Prime and experience in media. Therefore, it seems Kelce is likely to pursue a television career.
