Out of all the good things he’s done for the Chiefs, there’s maybe one major blunder that marks the journey of Patrick Mahomes. At least that’s what Tyreek Hill makes us believe. And the Dolphins wide receiver has a pretty funny take on the topic.
In an interview with Robert Griffin III, the Dolphins QB blamed Patrick Mahomes for Chiefs Exit. And the reason is as bizarre as it gets. But before things get serious, you should calm down. Because it was nothing more than a joke from the Cheetah.

Upon a question from RG3, Hill revealed that Patrick Mahomes never invited him to his house. And the two immediately burst into laughter. The WR was more huffed with the fact that only Travis Kelce used to get invitations from the QB. “I was hurt. Patrick, you ain’t never invited me over to your house like you did Kelce, that’s why we here where we at now”, Hill joked.

“I’ve never been anybody’s side chick before. I go to KC, now I’m the side chick”, he further quipped about how he felt less important at the team. “You taking me to Joe’s barbeque, no! I don’t want no barbeque, I wanna go to the fancy restaurants!” Although, Griffin later stated that he was the no. 1 guy with Tua Tagovailoa, which Hill didn’t disagree with.

But has the March 2022 trade changed much in Hill’s career? In reality, yes, but not without apparent setbacks too.
Tyreek Hill: The face of the Dolphins

If Hill had remained one more season with the Chiefs, could have been a two-time Super Bowl champion by now instead of one. But that’s just about it. There have been a lot more positive things in his life after he joined the Dolphins, becoming the frontman being one of them.
QB Tua Tagovailoa is incomplete without the Cheetah, and vice versa too. Combined, they are the league’s arguably most lethal QB-WR pair. He has also gotten a celebrity status after the switch, and become a prominent face of the team. This was never going to be the case at Kansas, as Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have long been the headline makers. This could certainly help Hill’s career in the long term.
Clearly, the Chiefs haven’t been affected much by the WR’s departure, and neither has Hill. If the decision proved costly, Hill wouldn’t be so frank and relaxed talking about it. That’s further evidence of the happy time he’s enjoying at Miami, as the team prepares for their successive playoff appearance.
