One of these was his interaction with Academy Award-winning actress Julia Roberts on June 30, Night 3 of Taylor Swift’s Dublin show in Ireland. And although Roberts and Swift go way back, this was the first time the Chiefs tight end met the actress, and the interaction was rather eye-catching.

In a video shared by a fan, Travis Kelce and Julia Roberts were standing inside the VIP tent that’s there at every show. The actress appeared to be scratching Kelce’s chest while saying something that made the football player laugh. Some thought it was sweet, while many others were curious about the physical contact and what Roberts said. Ed Kelce shared a lip-reading breakdown by Jackie Gonzalez, a deaf artist and social media star, on Friday, which likely means that he agreed with what Gonzalez had to report.

Gonzalez believes Roberts was positively glowing about Kelce and his girlfriend! As reported by People, Roberts allegedly said, “I’m so unusually happy for you guys, and I don’t mean to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy.” How uplifting is that? It totally changes the vibe of that viral clip. But did you know this wasn’t Roberts’ first time attending the Eras Tour?

Her first experience came in June last year, and Travis Kelce wasn’t dating Swift back then (at least, not publicly). In an episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce gave his brother, Jason, a rundown of how it was to hang out with Julia Roberts. And apart from a rundown, he also gave the former center a little bit of FOMO. Jason brought it up: “Dude, you just took a photo with Julia Roberts?” Travis, still buzzing, replied, “Yeah, I met her. That was pretty cool; she was awesome.” But she wasn’t the only one he met. That VIP tent has seen so many A-listers over the past 100+ shows, and on that night, Stevie Nicks graced it, too.

“Her and Stevie Nicks were in there having some fun,” he said. On her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor Swift has a song called Clara Bow, in which she mentions how Nicks was compared to Bow and how Swift was subsequently compared to Nicks. Much to everyone’s delight, the 34-year-old sang the song for Nicks! It was then that Kelce teased Jason, saying, “You might be the only one in the family who hasn’t met [Roberts] yet.”

Remember how we mentioned that Travis’ appearance at the Dublin show caught fans’ attention for more than one reason? Well, apart from the Julia Roberts interaction, what if we told you there was a chance it wouldn’t have happened in the first place?

Well, one of them is So High School. There’s a lyric in that song that goes, “I wanna find you in a crowd just to hide from you.” Well, finding him in a crowd is what Swift did in Dublin, but nothing could’ve hidden her or the smile that lit up her face when she realized her boyfriend was there to watch her. But considering he’s made so many appearances before, why was she surprised?

That’s because Kelce was reportedly at a wedding in California the previous night. Swift didn’t expect him to be there, and during the 1989 era (which has one of Travis’ favorite songs, Blank Space), guards escorted Kelce to the tent, but she didn’t see him then. However, during her Folklore era, while she was singing August, she spotted him, and fans captured the exact moment. She smiled, and he waved, and everyone else gushed.

This just added another chapter to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s love story. And it’s safe to say that Julia Roberts is one of their biggest shippers.
