With Kupp out, is this the perfect chance for Watson and Doubs to shine for the Packers?

The week 5 SNF game between the Packers and Rams is an exciting matchup. While Packs are 2-2, the Rams are struggling with a 1-3 win-loss record. However, here’s a twist. The offense of both teams is dealing with injuries. On the 6th of October, many key players from both teams like Cooper Kupp, Romeo Doubs, and Christian Watson, will be missing from action. They released their injury report. Here’s the update.

Packers’ receivers, Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson did not participate in the practice session on all 3 days. While Doubs is staying away because of a personal issue, Watson is dealing with an ankle injury. Both are doubtful for the week 5 game.

The Rams will play without their WR Cooper Kupp, who is dealing with an ankle injury. He also didn’t practice for all 3 days. It will be his 3rd consecutive miss. In the season opener, Kupp had 14 receptions of 21 targets with 110 yards. Without him, the team loses its edge.

Watson might not play because of a high ankle sprain. But the team doesn’t want to put him on the IR. They are carefully monitoring his progress. Working with him on a day-to-day basis, the Packs want to bolster their offense as early as they can. In 4 games, the WR has only 5 receptions for 80 yards to his name. And the upcoming game would be a tough contest.

Fans are excited. But injuries are piling up. Let’s review which players won’t be playing in week 5.

Have an interesting take?

The gaps are not limited to the offense only. Both teams are missing out on their defense as well. Well, the game is on whether all players are ready to be on the field or not.

While Rams would be without their cornerback Larrell Murchison, who suffered a forearm/foot injury. Though the CB had limited participation in the practice on Wednesday, he didn’t turn up on Thursday and Friday. Looks like Murchison re-aggravated his injury because of which the team has ruled him out against the Packers. CB Darious Williams and WR Demarcus Robinson are also out for the week 5 game vs Packers.

The Green and the Gold will be playing without their defensive tackle, Devonte Wyatt. He is also dealing with an ankle injury and didn’t participate in practice during the week. The question here is, can the Packers hold the Rams’ offense?
