Can the Packers survive the Eagles without Marshawn Lloyd and a banged-up roster?

As the clash in Sao Paulo draws near, the Eagles and Packers are expected to go over their roster to check for players’ availability. Covering that information, the Packers might have a few players who are questionable to appear at Corinthians Arena. A fixture that is slated to go down in NFL history books, some of them might be missing out on their possible involvement.

With the Packers releasing their squad information before the Eagles match-up, RB MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring), Emanuel Wilson (hip), and TE Tucker Kraft (back) might have to watch the game from the sidelines. After suffering a hamstring injury against the Browns in the Packers preseason opener earlier last month, Lloyd continues to remain out of action.

Although he practiced with the team during this week’s training, Lloyd ended up sitting down on Tuesday while continuing to be involved in a limited capacity. However, Wilson continued to practice all week, but he was also involved on a limited basis, with a question mark hovering over their availability.

Similarly, Kraft is also on the notable absentee list after suffering from a back injury in the preseason encounter against Cleveland. With three of their RBs possibly sitting out the match against the Eagles, they might have to rely upon RB Ellis Merriweather, La’Mical Perine, and Chris Brooks to take some responsibility.

Elsewhere, there isn’t any game status given to LB Edgerrin Copper (hip), WR Romeo Doubs (hand), and CB Carrington Valentine (hamstring). All of them are expected to take on the gridiron at Corinthians Arena when called upon by the squad.

Even though the Packers are expected to remain thin in their offense going into Brazil. Are the Eagles facing a similar situation or something worse?

Eagles’ latest injury report before their clash against Packers in Brazil

Showing up as the home team on a historical night in Brazil, the Eagles will be without CB Isaiah Rodgers, who continues to recover from a hand injury. Before him being ruled out, LB Devin White was left in Philadelphia, citing an ongoing issue with an ankle injury. Instead, Nakobe Dean might be given his opportunity, as shared by HC Nick Sirianni. “I’m really excited for Nakobe’s opportunity tomorrow. He’s a really good player. He’s battled some injuries throughout, but we’ve sure as heck been excited about him from the moment he stepped into this building.”

Although White and Rodgers would be missing out on the Brazil clash, A.J. Brown and G. Landon Dickerson are slated to play their roles in the match. After suffering from a knee injury against the Buccaneers last season, Brown is expected to make his comeback from a lengthy absence on the sidelines. Although both teams have some of their key players ruled out in this memorable clash under lights in Brazil. Excitement is seemingly touching the roofs of Corinthians Arena as the Green Bay Packers are set to battle it out with the Eagles on South American soil.
