The Steelers have outperformed the Titans today at Acrisure Stadium. In the close game, the Titans had the upper hand till the third quarter, but the Steelers took the Titans by surprise in the fourth and stole the game. The limelight of the game was the opening and closing TDs secured by the Steelers that ultimately sealed the deal.

With this win, the Steelers are now sitting comfortably at the second spot in the NFC North, just behind the Baltimore Ravens who are having a dream run in this season. While the Ravens have won 6 games, the Steelers have now recorded 5 wins in their eight games, which is an impressive record. But the irony is that they have also gone on to achieve some rather embarrassing records as well with this win.

Records are getting smashed in every game this NFL season. The Steelers have achieved two more, which they are not proud of. One of these goes back to the 1930s and the second just puts them with the likes of the Denver Broncos. Adam Schefter shared the stats on X.

With the win, the Steelers became the 34 team since 1933 to be outgained by the opponents in terms of rushing and receiving yards but still manage a winning record. Also, they are currently standing at an astounding -790 yards, the second worst of all, just behind the Broncos. The Steelers would surely want to make up for their stats in upcoming games. They will next face the Packers and the Browns in the coming weeks.

‘A sigh of relief’ for the Steelers!

The storm has passed for now. The Steelers are going to face the Packers after 9 days. The Packers have lost five out of seven games so far and will face the Rams this Sunday before gearing up against the Steelers. Embarrassing or not, the Steelers would not mind these records as long as they end up on the winning side.
