Erin Andrews has been on quite a journey. From making waves with her bestie Charissa Thompson on their Calm Down Podcast to heading her clothing line WEAR, to doing a deep dive on the “She is Football” event, to her appearance at LA Kings’s Skate’s LA Strong event. This boss-lady is tackling the game of life like there’s no glass ceiling. And she’s a fighter, too. After dealing with infertility and beating cervical cancer, she has discovered there’s more to life than just her career, like celebrating little moments with her family.

A few weeks ago, she had posted about her son Mack’s first trip to Disneyland and how it was a landmark moment for the family. Her family is behind her all the way, too. Take her sister, for example—Kendra Andrews. The dancer/actor has often posted fun reels of her bonding with Mack, from group vacations in Yellowstone Club, Montana, to videos of Mack’s Disneyland trip – she’s all in with her family. So, when she shared a post about the fam’s Easter outing, it just hit home, hard.

Kendra posted a reel on her Instagram following their Easter Sunday celebrations, and the fans are melting. The captionless reel features the antics and adventures of little Mack with Erin and her husband, Jarret Stoll. Mack is rolling around, running, falling down, and dropping Easter Eggs. It ends with the mandatory picture of Mack on the Easter Bunny’s lap, looking up in awe. While fans are melting over the cuteness overload, Erin herself cannot contain her glee as she writes, “Ommmmmmmmmmgggggggggg Jackson Latry Jr”

There’s context here that not everyone sees. Mack is the child Andrews spent years trying to conceive. She has spoken openly about the physical and emotional toll of infertility, about self-administering hormone injections between flights, about aligning embryo transfers with NFL playoff coverage, about moving through loss while millions watched her report live from the sidelines. She and her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll, welcomed Mack via surrogate in July 2023. So when fans see her beaming at her son’s first Easter, they’re witnessing something that felt, for years, just out of reach.

For years, she embodied the archetype of the polished sideline reporter—sharp, tireless, essential. Now, she’s letting the rest of the picture in. Not just the Easter egg hunts, but the podcast laughs, the brand-building hustle, and the deep recalibration of what fulfillment looks like.

FOX contract, and the future for Erin Andrews

Easter has come and gone, but there’s still no word on Erin Andrews’ FOX contract, which expired after Super Bowl LIX. She has even addressed this on her podcast with Charissa, “I think my goal is always kind of the same as last year — Enjoy it, because it’s not going to last forever, especially when your contract is up — and mine is.” Well, if it’s not going to “last forever”, she’s certainly not waiting around. She’s a go-getter, and when she showed up at the LA Strong event in February, fans started speculating whether she would make a splash in the Ice Hockey rink. And let’s not forget the massive following Erin and Charissa have been gathering through their Calm Down Podcast.

Cut to March, Erin and Charissa headlined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers“She is Football” event, and the fans decided it’s clearly not her time to exit the NFL world. It was a two-day event that celebrated and highlighted women’s involvement in sports. Two whole days of excitement with a girls’ flag football tournament with 8 Florida high school teams, a career summit (The Women’s Summit) with a lineup full of women leaders, and so much more. There was also a market with 50 different businesses owned by women, including Erin’s own brand WEAR.

Whether it’s dealing with illness, promoting her brand, or talking about life with Charissa, Erin Andrews is doing it all, with superb energy and charisma. While there’s no update on her future with FOX, that’s clearly not going to define her. Instead, it will be just one chapter in a glorious career that continues to expand.
