Jason Kelce and Kylie have been married for 6 years now. The couple has 3 beautiful girls together and they are the epitome of a perfect relationship. However, things did not start this way. A former teammate spills the beans on the couple’s very first date.

In 2015, Jason and Kelce met each other on Tinder. And after a few weeks of chatting, they decided to meet. This is when the legendary first bad date between Jason and Kylie happened. Now former nose tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles recounts his side of the story.

Jason Kelce was dragged out by Beau Allen

On the latest edition of the ‘New Heights’ podcast, Jason was joined by former teammates Beau Allen and Chris Long. And the chatter soon led to that infamous night of the first date. The 7X Pro Bowler during the date, consumed too much alcohol and passed out.

“That was physically one of the hardest things I’ve ever done”, said the Super Bowl winner Allen. With Kelce incapacitated, the job of bringing him out of the bar was on Allen’s shoulders.

While the former defensive end for the Eagles, Long laughed hysterically. “I was fighting”, said Jason trying to contain the laughter as he recalled him unwilling to leave with Allen. However, he must be thankful to this day, that it wasn’t the last date with his future wife Kylie.

A second attempt was successful

After the horrible first date, which Kylie considered would be a catfish date, the footballer apologized profusely to Kylie. And she granted him a second date the very next day as Jason said to her “Can we try that again? This time around, Kelce was on his best behavior and impressed Kylie enough to get married to him 3 years later.

The Super Bowl winner has built a wonderful life with her and their 3 children in Philadelphia. With his retirement knocking at the door, Kelce will be able to spend more time with his family.

All thanks to former teammate Allen, since Kelce could have left an even worse first impression. If Allen hadn’t intervened!
