The NFL Honors wrapped up the biggest award ceremony of the season on Wednesday, February 6 in New Orleans. Some of the best players of the 2024-25 season were present at the event. The special night saw Jayden Daniels, Jared Verse, Saquon Barkley, Patrick Surtain II, and Joe Burrow get the season-best awards in various categories. But the most important award went to Bills Quarterback Josh Allen.

The 28-year-old QB is now an NFL MVP. This was his first MVP award, coming after a stellar season that saw him reach the Championship round. But the award was not only about getting recognition for the hard work he has put in over the years. It was not only about the talisman role he played for the Bills to make them the team that has won the AFC East Conference for the last 5 seasons in a row. No, it was even more important in the context of his love life – or at least that is what a renowned journalist thinks.

ESPN’s Senior NFL Insider, Adam Schefter jokingly tweeted, “Josh Allen just financed his wedding”. Oh yes, thank God he won the NFL MVP. Because of it, he gets an additional $1.5 million as per his Bills contract. Add to this his base salary of $1,125,000 that the Bills paid to him in 2024. He just might be able to afford a luxurious wedding that would be apt for the power couple of Buffalo. Of course, Josh Allen is engaged to Hailee Steinfeld, a star singer, and an Oscar and Golden Globe nominee. Their wedding has to be posh and high-class which matches their stature, their style quotient, and their influence. Should cost about a million and a half. Sounds about right, Adam.

Is the wedding around the corner? Hailee did post a cryptic teaser recently on Instagram regarding a major announcement on February 14. Could it be wedding-related? That would be some way for the power couple to announce to the world the next big step in their lives: “A few years ago I started building something special & it’s finally coming out into the world next week… Sharing all details February 14 in @beausociety of course 😉”

Not too long to wait. Allen and Hailee have become Buffalo’s iconic emblem. The City even regards them as the King and Queen of Buffalo. But the King knows how special the Queen has been in his journey.

Hailee is the MVP in Josh Allen’s life

Josh and Hailee got engaged in November 2024. Allen was nervous, but Hailee’s heart knew what the answer would be. A committed fan of her fiance through and through, she has become a beloved part of the Bills Mafia. While the passion and grit were there, the Hollywood star has added style and glamour to the NFL team. And how could she not? Such class, so much talent, and the ease with which she juggles as an amazing singer and an Oscar-nominee actress.

As the award presenters announced the name of the AP Most Valuable Player – “Josh Allen”, the Bills QB stood up to the applause and straight away kissed his fiancee. If gestures could express how important someone is to a person!! Even going on to the stage, after accepting the award, Josh thanked all the people because of whom this moment was made possible.

An emotional gratitude to his parents and the journey since childhood, the sacrifices they have shared as a family for which this was possible. And lastly, Josh Allen acknowledged his fiancee’s influence on him: “My fiancee, Hailee. You have been my rock, you are my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”

Hailee’s style factor is off the charts – as it usually is for Hollywood stars. So Josh Allen safely puts all his trust in his fiancee’s fashion sense and play-calls: “The only person I care that thinks I look good is my fiancee, and that’s all that matters to me.” Smart call, and a no-brainer to be honest, not to mention Josh is saying only Hailee matters.
