The upcoming game on November 21 is going to be really special. And there are many reasons for this. It’s going to be between the same teams that played against each other in Super Bowl LVII. Two brothers are going to play against each other. And two HCs are going to face off against each other, who were once almost going to work together for the same team.
It’s always difficult being shown the door when you’ve been with a team for 4 years. And yet, that’s what happened to Nick Sirianni, who is currently the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Will Nick Sirianni one-up the person who fired him?
Nick Sirianni joined the Kansas City Chiefs as their offensive quality control in 2009. He worked his way up through the ranks and became the wide receivers coach in 2012. Enter Andy Reid. And guess which team he had come from, after coaching them for 13 years? The Eagles. And when Reid came to the Chiefs, he brought David Culley with him. He had been the wide receivers coach in the Eagles under Reid.

But there can be only one WR coach, and Reid wasn’t willing to let go of his trusted lieutenant. So instead, he fired Sirianni. “Coach Reid was charged with the task of telling me I wasn’t working there anymore,” Sirianni said. “And I really respected the fact that he took time to meet with me, tell me what he had heard about me.”
The jobless Sirianni then jumped from the Los Angeles Chargers to the Indianapolis Colts before finally landing in Philly as their HC. Although there are no hard feelings on either side, Sirianni sure has a chip on his shoulder to beat the person who fired him.
Will history repeat itself in the Eagles vs. Chiefs game?
Sirianni became the Eagles’ HC in 2021 and the very next year took the team to winning the NFC Championship. And the year after that, coached the team to the Super Bowl LVII, where he ultimately lost to Reid. According to Nielsen, Super Bowl LVII had an estimated 113 million views, which made it the second most-watched game ever.

Again, on November 6, the face-off against the Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys attracted the highest ratings for any NFL game this season with 27.1 million viewers. With the November 20 game set to be a rematch of the last Super Bowl, will NFL ratings be blown through the roof?

And as if the Reid vs. Sirianni hype wasn’t enough, we also have Travis Kelce going against his brother, Jason Kelce. Travis is definitely more popular than he was during the last Super Bowl. After his link-up with billionaire singer Taylor Swift, a lot of Swifties will be keenly watching the game as well for any sign of their idol.
