The legendary Josh Bynes has made an emotional announcement that has made the NFL fans remember the LB once again. The veteran is retiring after a twelve-season-long career. The Baltimore Ravens drafted him as a free agent way back in 2011. All the fans remember him as the man who has won the Super Bowl for the Ravens. During his long journey, he has played with many teams, including the Lions, the Cardinals, and the Bengals. The NFL fans are now congratulating the legend as he finally retires as a Raven.

Bynes had three different stints with the Ravens and had worn its jersey for six seasons. The linebacker has taken the Ravens to the Super Bowl victory in the 2012 season. The Ravens won against the 49ers 34-31, and Bynes produced the game-winning tackle that made it possible. Now the NFL community has come to the foyer to give their due respects to the veteran who has registered his name in the history books.

The man had made freaking 582 tackles in his decade-long career. How the hell did he survive by hitting the opponents so many times? Bynes started his career with the Ravens and spent the last two seasons with them. The Ravens signed him at the late end of his career. In a gesture of respect, the Ravens posted the news to their official X account.

In the post, the Ravens announced Bynes’s retirement and congratulated the veteran. The Ravens shared a larger-than-life collage of Bynes that mentioned, “Once a Raven, Always a Raven”. It also highlighted the final tackle against the 49ers in the Super Bowl while accolading his 12-season-long career. The fans reacted to the post and came forth to congratulate the legend in various ways.

Bynes gets all the love from the NFL fans

Chuck Close congratulated him on his long career and wrote in his tweet, “Congratulations on a good career. Once a Raven always a Raven.”

FatherColin acknowledged his game-winning tackle against the 49ers in the final and wrote, “Made the Super Bowl winning tackle against the Niners…Ravens Legend.

No one can forget that tackle for sure. Bragging Rights Sports Blog also highlighted the incredible Super Bowl-winning performance and wrote, “One of the last connections of the Super Bowl team in 2012. We don’t have a 2nd ring if he doesn’t track down Ted Gin Jr.”

The Ravens are going to miss the veteran, but the team is in a very sorted space at the moment. 26-year-old LB Roquan Smith is having a dream run and is giving out exceptional performances in every outing. He has a whopping 126 tackles already in just 12 games.
