Odell Beckham Jr. wasn’t fortunate enough to perform on the gridiron this Christmas. Instead, he had to watch holiday games from his couch while waiting for the next big opportunity. But it isn’t like Beckham didn’t enjoy his time at home celebrating Christmas with family. The three-time Pro Bowler ended up learning an emotional lesson thanks to his son, Zydn Beckham.

His two-year-old baby boy gave his papa a Christmas morning that he would probably cherish for a long time, “Just sittin back thinkin how amazing it was Christmas morning, my son running in the room to wake me up “Daddy Santa brought presents!” The purity of his soul and the genuine excitement to open every gift is a feeling in ur soul u can’t describe.” Besides sharing with us his gratitude for being a father, Beckham Jr. also expressed something that probably stems from his tough times on the gridiron.

“I feel like I wish the world could take a page from this book as just a reminder to worry about yourself and ur loved ones, and this whole world would be a better place!” Now, we couldn’t help but think, was it a possible dig to his previous employers, the Dolphins? After spending the majority of the offseason on the PUP list, Beckham was finally able to play nine games for Miami.

However, they weren’t at all pleased with the three-time Pro Bowler. His contributions of 9 catches for 55 yards weren’t enough for the Phins to keep him on board. Yes, they decided to cut off Beckham before the end of his one-year $3M deal in Miami. If he had performed for the limited opportunities received this season. It might have cost the Phins $8.25M because of his incentives-heavy deal. Now, he remains on the hunt for a new opportunity, probably in this season. OBJ didn’t mince his words praising his former teammate Lamar Jackson as he continues to break records in the NFL.

Odell Beckham Jr. was left speechless watching Lamar Jackson with the Ravens

What Lamar Jackson is doing this season probably won’t be replicated anytime soon. He pushes Baltimore to claim the AFC North title under the noses of the Steelers. Jackson brushed aside the AFC South Champions, the Texans, on Christmas. Well, the two-time NFL MVP didn’t even have to break a sweat in Houston as he entered the record books of the NFL. His 87 rushing yards in Houston meant the Ravens QB now reigns supreme over other QBs in terms of rushing yards in the league.

Him touching 6,110 rushing yards has led to former Falcons QB Michael Vick giving up his No.1 spot to Jackson. Still, only 27, who knows where Jackson’s rushing yards will end once he hangs up his cleats in the NFL? Jackson has made a strong case for himself yet again this season to win his third MVP title. With 3,955 passing yards to his name and 39TDs, it’s only a matter of time before the NFL announces Jackson as their worthy MVP title recipient.
