Did the Rams make a mistake giving up on their Super Bowl LVI score-opening wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.? The question is yet to be answered in the bigger context. But as far as the current match is concerned, the WR had made life harder for his past team.
The week 14 game between the Ravens and the Rams is underway, and OBJ converted a 46-yard Lamar Jackson pass into a second-quarter touchdown. Coming from behind, the 6-pointer play gave the home side a 3-point advantage early in the quarter. However, the game is going neck to neck with the last stretch of play remaining.

The 45-yard-line play began with the ball reaching Jackson, who found OBJ at the no-man’s zone, deep into opposition territory. The play at the 9-minute spot marked the QB’s second touchdown of the game, and the Ravens took a 13-10 lead from trailing.

The Rams, however, quickly replied with a touchdown of their own and a follow-up field goal. As things stand, they are leading the home side by 5 points. Will the WR further punish his former club to turn the table or will the Rams have the final laugh over OBJ?
Rams to take down the AFC top-seed Ravens?
The Ravens became the AFC favorites in week 10 after the Eagles took down the defending champion Chiefs. The team also lost themselves to the Browns, but have been on a 2-game win streak since then. But the Rams are going neck-to-neck with the Ravens, and the first side since week 11 to cross the 20-point mark against them. Not only that, they are also leading the home side 28-23 with 3 minutes to play in the final quarter.

If the Rams manage to turn their lead into a win, it would leave the Dolphins as the temporary conference toppers. Unless things go unexpectedly wrong in the Titans game a few hours later, the Dolphins are likely to stay the only AFC side with a 3 or less game loss record. So, the outcome of the current game will leave a far bigger influence than it looks in deciding the postseason equation, and the Rams are moments away from doing that.
