Patrick Mahomes’ half-sister, Zoe Mahomes, continues to make her mark in the world of sports, particularly in soccer, much like her NFL quarterback brother and father. A daughter of Pat Mahomes Sr. from another relationship, Zoe Mahomes recently made waves with her mesmerizing performances in the City Futsal Soccer 3v3 Tournament and the Spring Bash Tournament.
The Chiefs QB’s half-sister recently left spectators in awe by leading her team, Sting Pre-Elite G14 Brave, to a magnificent triumph with a 2-1 score. With her exceptional skills and determination, the younger Mahomes helped her team defeat Attack FC 13G. Earlier, she also expressed her excitement for the Premier Supercopa, an elite competition in the U.S. that was held from June 13 to June 16. A few hours later, inspired by Thomas Edison, Zoe Mahomes disclosed her anticipation for the USWNT (United States Women’s National Soccer Team) as they prepare for the upcoming Olympic Games.
Through her latest Instagram post, Zoe Mahomes revealed that rather than “cute boys,” she is eagerly waiting for the moment when the USWNT clinches the gold medal in the Paris Olympics 2024. Like an ambitious, determined, and enthusiastic athlete, she showcased that she has sports in her blood by expressing her anticipation for the USWNT team as they gear up for the Olympics.

Furthermore, Soccer Innovations’ Instagram account owner also mentioned a Netflix show featuring the dreams of young boys and girls. “I was just watching a show on Netflix last night that said most little girls and boys dream of playing for their national team. I couldn’t agree more,” they wrote.
Additionally, they mentioned two-time Olympic gold medalists and FIFA Women’s World Cup champions Mia Hamm and Brandi Chastain in the post, expressing their excitement for the upcoming Olympics. The post further read, “Growing up, I idolized Mia Hamm and Brandi Chastain. There is just nothing like cheering on your national team 🇺🇸. We CANNOT wait for the Olympics to get here to cheer on the @uswnt and @usmnt ❤️🤍💙 In the meantime, we’ll be over here watching #euro2024 #ussoccer #olympics2024 #paris2024 #paris2024🇫🇷 #olympicgames #ntxsoccer #soccerplayers #soccergames.”
In a video, Zoe Mahomes and other women could be seen holding posters in their hands. One of the posters held by a lady in the video read, “We are looking for.” The Chiefs QB’s half-sister held posters with text on both sides. Initially, she displayed a poster with the text “Cute Boys,” but a few seconds later, she flipped it to reveal the text “USWNT Gold Medal Paris Olympics,” garnering public attention.
However, USWNT has been navigating a tumultuous phase, dropping to its lowest spot in FIFA rankings at No. 5 since FIFA started ranking women’s teams in 2003. The team is all set to reclaim its position as the team heads to the Paris Olympics in July.

Undoubtedly, this is a transitional time for the team. From 2003 to 2023, the U.S. had an iron group in the top two positions, and between 2008 and 2014, and from 2017 to June 2023, they were right atop the list. Despite their recent challenges, the USWNT has historically shown determination and unwavering strength in the FIFA World Cups and Olympic Games, securing several medals.
They have become four-time world champions in 1991, 1999, 2015, and 2019. However, in the 2023 FIFA World Cup, they were knocked out in the Round of 16 game, after Sweden defeated them in a penalty shootout with 5-4 points on 6 August 2023 in Melbourne. Post their unexpected exit, the team receded to third place for the very first time in August last year. However, they showed the resiliency to climb back to second in December.
Now, the squad is gearing up for the Paris Olympics. The team has already won four gold, one silver, and one bronze medal in the Olympic Games in 1996, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2000, and 2020, respectively. The USWNT has played in a total of seven Olympic Games, showcasing their skills, and will host the event in 2028.

Former Chelsea manager Emma Hayes, now coaching the USWNT for the Olympics, expressed optimism about the team’s potential. “If we can perform at our best level, then we have a chance of doing things,” she remarked last month, acknowledging that “we’ve got work to do. The realities are that the world game is where it is, and the rest of the world do not fear the USA in the way that they once did, and that’s valid.”
The USWNT will play Olympic tune-up matches against Mexico on July 13 at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey and against Costa Rica on July 16 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. They recently secured victories against South Korea in two friendlies, gaining victory over Japan and Canada at the SheBelieves Cup in April.
