A recent update on Aaron Rodgers’ return might not be liked by the Rodgers enthusiasts. After suffering from an Achilles injury in the season opener for the New York Jets, Rodgers’ season came to an undesirable halt. However, his exit from the playing squad proved to be a bane for the Jets.
Rodgers was anticipated to end the Jets Super Bowl drought since 1969, but the way those hopes were shattered was harrowing. After the injury and successful surgeries, Rodgers was prompted to be back for the practice sessions and anticipated a faster return to the field. But there’s an undesirable update on the news addressing his 100% recovery.

Dr Brian Sutterer uploaded a video on his YouTube channel sharing his opinion on Rodgers’ 100% recovery before the regular season ends. After the QB himself addressed the lack of possibility to make a comeback for the ending weeks of the regular season, Sutterer also said, “No, It was completely unrealistic.“
He further added, “This whole Saga was that Rogers expected to be cleared and saying that you will be cleared, and you’re expected to be cleared. And then come out and say no it was unrealistic to ever have been cleared back to be 100%, by the end of the regular season that’s the honest reality.”
Sutterer highlighted how this aspect of Achilles injury is a tough concern to recover fast from was there from the get-go. Per him, it was quite evident from the beginning about how unrealistic the expectations of return by the end of December sounded.
After tearing his Achilles tendon, Rodgers went through successful surgeries, and during his recovery phase, the anticipation surrounding his comeback soared to newer heights. While he is doubtful for this playing season, the practice sessions still indicate a mighty fast recovery in general from the QB.

Aaron Rodgers returning to practice displays positive signs for the Jets
In the same mentioned video, Dr. Sutterer played footage of the Jets practice session featuring Rodgers. Rodgers could be seen moving pretty well on the field, and the doctor mentioned how he was impressed with Rodgers’ progress overall. The way Rodgers was throwing passes, it seemed like he never suffered an injury, showing good signs for the Jets in the future.
Yet, even though he showed promise in his practice sessions, as per the doctor, his return will only be sensible after proper time is given for revival. The Jets side and fans would be anticipating the gridiron entry of the star QB, wanting to witness Aaron Rodgers display his magic to help the team overcome previous tough seasons.
