San Francisco 49ers’ RB Christian McCaffrey was caught in the mid-fire when asked if he’s going to shun Taylor Swift’s music. However, McCaffrey chose to avert the topic by refusing to comment on his stance regarding Swift’s music. The running back also delved into his motivations for joining football and how he comes from a family that’s all dipped their toes into sports. Now, ahead of the Super Bowl LVIII, there’s a new update on McCaffrey and his family’s Taylor Swift appreciation.
Why is Taylor Swift banned from the McCaffrey House for 11 days?
In the ‘Your Mom‘ podcast, Lisa McCaffrey jokingly said that she refuses to listen to any Taylor Swift songs until the Super Bowl ends, despite being a Swiftie herself. She also expressed her support for Swift’s relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, but will staunchly support the 49ers in any way possible. “I love her. I love the relationship. But yep, we are boycotting any T-Swift songs.”
