Russell Wilson and his family are celebrating Mother’s Day and they are doing it right! It’s been quite a journey in the Steelers QB’s life, and he’s been a family person through and through. Harboring the family spirit, Wilson couldn’t help but make Ciara and the family’s day a treat.

The couple celebrated Mother’s Day by paying a visit to the zoo and Ciara was all for it. In appreciation of her husband, the Grammy Award winner took to Instagram to share the special moments of her life and showed us just how much things have changed over the years.

Ciara posted on IG a snippet of their family trip at the zoo. In the caption, there was a message for Russell Wilson and the kids. “This was truly a beautiful day! Thank you @DangeRussWilson and our babies for making me feel all the love today and everyday!” wrote the singer.

But her appreciation didn’t stop there as she expanded, “P.S. kind of trippy that the 1st time we went to the zoo together it’s was 3 of us….9 years later….now we’re 6 deep!:) It’s truly gift and a blessing to be a Mommy to our precious angels. #HappyMothersDay to all the mamas out there! ❤️”

From the looks of it, the family had a blast at the zoo. They got to watch giraffes, gorillas, and even elephants and cheetahs. The kids even fed bananas to a giraffe. Everything is picture perfect; the kids are taking care of each other, and the family looks as happy as ever. Suffice it to say that this Mother’s Day might be a memorable one for Ciara and Wilson clan.

Speaking of family, Wilson also wished his mother Tammy Wilson on the occasion as well. He thanked his mother for instilling great values in him and for carving out a compassionate character out of her son. “I love you so much Mom. Thanks for loving me. Raising me. Caring for me. Praying for me. Happy Mother’s Day!” shared Wilson in a post on Instagram. The mother and son seem to be in great mood, wearing huge smiles on their faces. On this day, though, Wilson also took time to share memories of his late father, sharing a photo from late 2009 in the same post.

But coming back to his own family, taking them to the zoo isn’t the only thing he did for Ciara. He knew what he had to say to make his wife’s day even more special.

The Steelers QB took to Instagram and posted a montage of their best moments together. It has pictures of the couple, mixed with some pictures of Ciara and the kids, and even vacation pics too. In the montage was a special message for his wife.

Wilson captioned his post as, “Happy Mother’s Day to my love @Ciara! You are the best Mom, Leader, and Boss Women for our beautiful kids to look up to! We are so grateful for you! BLESSED. Heaven sent. ❤️ We love you to Heaven and Back!”

To reciprocate, the R&B singer wrote, “Awe,I love you so much baby! ❤️❤️❤️” It’s amazing to see how family-centric Russell Wilson is. The relationship that he has with his family is hard to find and it grows over time.
