The Philadelphia Eagles appear to be surrounded by troubles once again. The team has a good 12-3 record so far, indicating that they will advance to the playoffs. But at this crucial time, their starter QB Jalen Hurts is out. For those who missed Week 17, the man received a severe blow to the head and was ruled out due to a concussion. And it appears that the fresh reports are not in his favor. Wait, what is the report claiming?

Well, the HC Nick Sirianni recently made a post-practice media appearance. And the coach did not have any pleasant news for the fans. The man had no news to share with the fans. When asked about Jalen Hurts, Sirianni only revealed one thing. And it was that the quarterback had not yet completed the concussion protocol. This means that there is a good chance that the quarterback may not be on the field against the Cowboys.

The report revealed, #Eagles HC Nick Sirianni offered no update on QB Jalen Hurts other than that he’s still in concussion protocol. Will see how much, if anything, he can do at practice, but becoming more difficult to see him being ready for Sunday’s game vs. the Cowboys.”

They released DB Tariq Castro-Fields and signed two more players from their practice squad. These stars are none other than running back Lew Nichols and quarterback Ian Book. Most people believe that this new quarterback is mostly intended to serve as a backup for Pickett.

What’s your perspective on:

Can the Eagles survive without Jalen Hurts, or is their playoff dream slipping away?

Interestingly, No. Reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks has reportedly disclosed that the team does not intend to make Pickett the starting quarterback. Ian Book is an incredible talent, but the quarterback is yet to show the world his full potential. He was chosen into the NFL by the Saints in 2021 and appeared in one game that season. Since then, the man has been looking for a second chance, and perhaps his wait is finally over. What are your thoughts about him? Should the Eagles experiment and allow Ian Book to lead the team?
