Later, Mahomes decided to speculate the season’s maiden grass-court Grand Slam. He tuned in for a nail-biting third-round clash starring Carlos Alcaraz and Frances Tiafoe.

The 28-year-old witnessed the thrilling encounter between the duo, which saw the young Spaniard claim victory over Tiafoe in a gruesome five-set battle. Afterward, the quarterback took to his official Instagram handle to capture a day well spent with his wife Brittany. However, his post instantly attracted Kyrgios’s attention. The former World No. 11 suggested the football star join forces for a pickleball event by commenting on his post saying “Gotta get some pickleball going”. For the uninitiated, in 2022, the QB along with Kyrgios, Naomi Osaka, and musician Kygo, amongst others, co-founded the Miami Pickleball Club.

Kyrgios has scripted his name as one of the most infamous personalities in the tennis world. The Aussie star is known for throwing outlandish on-court tantrums and his brattish behavior. However, the 29-year-old is currently sidelined owing to multiple injury concerns.

Mahomes along with his mother Randi, his wife Brittany, and their two kids have been touring Europe. The family has already marked their presence in Spain, Portugal, and Switzerland. Most recently, the quarterback’s mother also teased fans with their dream vacation’s next destination.

The reigning Super Bowl champion will be looking to commence the 2024 season later this month. Subsequently, he will likely eye for a historic three-peat this year, a triumph that will forever embed his name as one of the greatest QBs of all time, if not already.
