One of the most exciting matchups of the wildcard round is under threat of being postponed once again. The Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers hope to get a place in the AFC divisional round. But the game is under the prickly New York weather, and it doesn’t look like it will clear soon.
With high-octane action in store, both teams are ready and willing to showcase their talents on the field. However, with the weather still not improving, will this game kick off as scheduled?

Earlier, the game was scheduled for a Sunday afternoon kick-off. But in consultation with New York Governor Kathy Hochul, the NFL postponed the game to Monday evening slot. Despite the plan change, the weather hasn’t calmed down, and a miracle could be required for the scheduled kick-off.

Governor Hochul has declared a state of emergency, and a travel ban has also been imposed. These decisions will be reassessed again in a few hours with warnings of blizzards already declared by certain counties.
Despite these brutal conditions, both players are eager to take on each other. With glory and divisional round on the line, the Steelers squad has shown their grit and determination with their actions. But will the Highmark Stadium be able to handle it all?

Around 6 inches of snow had fallen on the Highmark in the last 24 hours. The stadium is a relic and does not have the modern technologies to heat the field. Built around 50 years ago, the Highmark will require manual shoveling.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh team has shown nerves of steel by arriving in New York. They were supposed to come on Saturday, but after the postponement, the squad boarded a plane on Sunday afternoon. However, they might have to wait in New York for additional time.
