This week’s game will provide the chance for these three times to make a spot in the playoffs. Rich Eisen elaborated on the scenarios in his show. He started with the Eagles by making it simpler and shared the scenarios. “Last week, the Philadelphia Eagles were the first to have the play-off clinching scenario in the NFL and uh, couldn’t do it as we saw…so they still have one this week,” he broke down the Eagles’ upcoming prospect. He then also shed light on the 49ers and the Cowboys.
We will list down these details starting with the Eagles. They need to win against the Cowboys and with that, the Seahawks must lose against the 49ers. Other than this The Rams and the Packers need to lose their next game for sure. What is interesting if the 49ers do win against the Seahawks that will be a plus for the Eagles but the 49ers also need the Packers to lose their next game and the Vikings’ loss will add the icing on the cake.
On the back of exceptional performances from their respective QBs, the Eagles have assimilated ten wins with .833 Pct and the other two teams are following right back with nine wins and have achieved .750 Pct each. Jalen Hurts has led the Eagles from the front with his 19 TDs and 2,995 passing yards. On the other hand, Brock Purdy‘s performances are shattering records. He has secured 23 TDs with just 6 interceptions.
The next team is the Cowboys who also have won nine games this season. Though the Cowboys’ win against the Eagles is highly speculative, we can’t just predict the outcomes and this NFL season has proved this once again.
The Cowboys are still in the hunt
Yes, the 49ers have proved themselves by defeating the Eagles but the Cowboys will get their chance to do the same this week if they win against the Eagles. Still, their chances are bleak as after securing the win they still have six other results to go in their favor that need at least five teams to lose their games including the Seahawks against the 49ers.
