As the Halloween deadline for the NFL Trades looms closer, teams are scrambling to make last-minute additions and ejections. But the Buffalo Bills have not made any bold moves recently. Entering Week 8, the Bills are in second place in the AFC North division, with a 5-3 record. With back-to-back tough battles against the Chiefs and the Eagles, both 6-1, in the coming weeks, are they considering any key changes to their roster?
A quick scout of the market reveals Carolina Panthers are on the lookout to make some serious sales. And the Bills are keenly looking out for players that they can buy to reinforce their roster. In the free market of players, it seems that the sellers have found the right buyers.

In the Josh Allen-led passing style game that the Bills favor, WR Stefon Diggs fits snuggly in the equation. But even with a guy like him, there are irregularities. There have been rumors that the Bills are interested in Panthers WR, Adam Thielen. Thielen and Diggs are no strangers to each other, having played together in the Minnesota Vikings, where there was one of the league’s top wideout combos. But will the Panthers be willing to trade him?
Thielen has emerged as Panthers QB Bryce Young’s favorite target, and with 49 catches for 509 yards and 4 TDs this season, it seems unlikely that the Panthers will let him go so easily. The silver lining is that he hasn’t signed any extensions yet and may not find a place in the Panthers’ long-term plans.

Bills are looking to fill in gaps in defense and offense
The Bills had shown interest in DeAndre Hopkins of the Tennessee Titans in the offseason, but we never got to hear more about it. Hopkins even teased signing up with the Bills with an Instagram post that had lyrics to Buffalo Soldiers. But all the hype fizzled out when he signed a 2-year, $26 million contract with the Titans. If they manage to woo him over, he could fill an important gap in the WR position for the Bills.
On the other side of the ball, CB Jaylon Johnson of the Bears also looks like a promising new addition. He is currently serving his final year at the Bears and there has been no talk of an extension, which signals that the Bears are probably looking to move on from him. If the Bills him, the 15-tackle CB could prove an important upgrade to the defense.
