Veterans Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins could be the next in the race for the Falcon’s next QB. After parting ways with Marcus Mariota in the middle of the 2022 season, the Falcons are stuck with Desmond Ridder, who has a meager 10 TDs and has had passes intercepted 11 times. After nine losses, their playoff hopes are teetering at only 12.5%. Who will be their next reliable option going into the next season?
Russell Wilson’s benching has raised doubts that the Broncos do want to keep going with his contract, next season. On the other hand, Kirk Cousins played six years with the Vikings but a torn right Achilles tendon ended his season after eight games. If the Vikings end up sticking with Mullens then Cousins will become a free agent. This will leave the Falcons overwhelmed with choices.
