It was more like a movie cameo for Aaron Rodgers in the New York Jets. “Last week we met with Aaron and shared that our intention was to move in a different direction at quarterback. It was important to have this discussion now to provide clarity and enable each of us the proper time to plan for our respective futures.” That was the end for the Jets’s quarterback with the franchise.

Just leave the first season for a while. In the second year, Aaron Rodgers couldn’t lead the team to the playoffs. In fact, he wasn’t able to clinch more than 5 wins in the season. Hence, as per the current scenario, both sides officially part ways sometime soon. So, what’s next for the 41-year-old?

Well, according to NFL Rumors on X, “#Rams are expected to pursue Aaron Rodgers if they part ways with Matthew Stafford.” The Los Angeles Rams are currently in the news for trading Cooper Kupp. However, along with it, the rumors suggest they might part ways with quarterback Stafford in the offseason. The reason? Despite him leading the team to the playoffs, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic thinks QB’s age and health as prime reasons for the Rams to think so. Hence, if this happens, they will probably be hiring another quarterback. So, can it be Rodgers?

It seems quite doubtful. Leaving a veteran 37-year-old to pick up an older, experienced player of 41 years of age. That didn’t work out too well, did it?

Nevertheless, rumors are rumors and the NFL is the NFL! But as per Adam Schefter, “He’s from there (Rodgers is from California). I’m sure he’d love to play for Sean McVay. That would be an obvious fit… And the Rams could probably get him at a lower cost than it would be for Matthew Stafford.” So, who knows what’s in store for these two quarterbacks ahead? Until then, there is another potential home name coming for Aaron Rodgers. So, which one is it?

Breakfast Ball” co-host Craig Carton pitched a storyline in front of the audience. He expressed he thinks Aaron Rodgers might play for the 49ers next season. Along with Myles Garrett, who had requested a trade from Cleveland. Now we know many of you might wonder where Brock Purdy is then. No, as per Carton, he isn’t gonna be a backup to A-Rod. But instead, he’s gonna swap with Garrett. Wait, what?

Yes! As per Carton’s theory, “Aaron Rodgers will be the starting quarterback next year of the San Francisco 49ers. I’ve got this entire thing worked out. (He) goes to San Francisco, Brock Purdy gets traded to the Cleveland Browns for Myles Garrett and that affords Cleveland the opportunity to then trade the No. 2 pick for a bevy of picks to fill out other holes they have on their roster.

Hmm… a good deal of might not buy this idea. Trading a young QB like Purdy for Aaron Rodgers, who’s way past his prime? It seems pretty illogical, right?

Nevertheless, besides all these scenarios, one thing is clear: Aaron Rodgers isn’t staying with the Jets. And who’s staying after him is still a big question! Until then, coach Aaron Glenn focuses on someone else at this point.

Is a new weapon coming soon for Aaron Rodgers’ Jets after QB’s exit?

The comeback kid! After facing back-to-back season-trimming injuries, Tim Patrick was finally battling back with the Detroit Lions. His 2024 season culminated in a stellar performance: he played and amassed 33 catches for 394 yards and 3 touchdowns. Now, it’s definitely a great way to start his TD season, especially when before this he didn’t make any in 1,082 days.

That’s why around 30 reporters came running towards him for questions when he scored two touchdowns in a December game. That felt surreal for him! However, the WR is set to hit the free agency market. And if the Lions aren’t paying him back, Aaron Rodgers’s Jets might sign him.

The channel also claimed that “#Lions’ Tim Patrick is set to be a free-agent, and Aaron Glenn has his eyes on him…” in the caption. In addition, many other reports have revealed that Patrick remains the utmost “priority” for Glenn now. This might also be because of their familiarity. During his time in Denver, Glenn was with Patrick.

So, yeah, they could be a great fit together for the Jets. In addition, the WR may find a new home in the Jets who can give him the ball as much as he can. So, let’s see after Aaron Rodgers’s exit, will Glenn be able to bring a much-needed push to the Jets’s offense?
