The most successful coaching duo: Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels may be seen back in their element together on the field once again. The rumors of firing Bill Belichick have been brewing up after the Patriots gave the worst performance in 32 years, winning just four games. However, before a final decision is taken concerning the HC of the Patriots, new rumors have emerged of his old coaching team member joining back for a potential revival of the New England side.
McDaniels, who parted ways with the Raiders in October after two years of coaching stint, might find himself back in the Patriots camp. The team’s owner Robert Kraft and HC Belichick are in conversations to rope in McDaniels as the Patriots look to return from the precarious situation. The former OC has spent 19 years of his life with the Patriots alongside Bill Belichick. They have won six Super Bowls together and the amazing duo can do wonders for the Patriots, just like the good old days.

As per reports surrounding the football community, Bill Belichick and the owner of the side, Robert Kraft, are all set to sit down for a discussion. Addressing the concerns of the team after a terrible 2023 season, the aim behind the conversation remains to talk about the improvement scenario going forward. However, interestingly, news has emerged of a potential discussion also surrounding the re-entry of McDaniels into the coaching staff of the Patriots.
Dov Kleiman shared the update by posting on X. He laid down the prospects as per reports, “Patriots may reunite Former Patriots OC Josh McDaniels with HC Bill Belichick.” Kleiman pointed out the condition, “If he (Belichick) stays on the team’s head coach,” remarking how the conversation made sense only if the head coach of the side is asked to continue and does not get fired as per the rumors.
The tweet further acknowledged the power this decision holds, mentioning, “What an interesting potential turn of events in New England.” He then laid down the question for the Pats fans, stating, “Would you rather move on from Belichick? Or give the duo a chance to turn things around.”
