The NFL is now moving in a different direction. They want bigger TV deals, which will help kick in higher contracts for players via increased revenues. After tasting success as the league moved to Netflix for Christmas streaming, they are now trying to make increased gains. Additionally, just like free agent players, there are free TV analysts and additions from retired players. We saw the retired Eagles center Jason Kelce joining ESPN after retiring from the league. Now, it’s time for his younger brother, Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs’ tight end suffered a brutal departure from Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. The defeat voodoo worked on them. While he was thinking of proposing to his billionaire GF, Taylor Swift, things went south. Almost all the Chiefs’ Kingdom were worried he might not return. But he came back for one last dance. Patrick Mahomes & Co. has already named it their Revenge Tour.

When Travis Kelce decides to hang his shoes, two TV Giants could battle to sign him. Fox Sports might be a fore-runner considering ESPN has already secured the big brother. But according to a report in Front Office Sports, CBS will also join the race at the right time and poach him from the NFL world.

With a $1.6 billion valuation, the network has more than enough money to pay him handsomely. The biggest rumor is becoming a broadcaster on The NFL Today show. Just like the FOX wants to bring Travis Kelce into their fold, there are other people they want to keep. It’s Erin Andrews, NFL coach Jimmy Johnson, and Terry Bradshaw in the FOX NFL Sunday. Their strategy is simple. Ex-Fox executive Bob Thompson revealed, “New entrants to the TV world have recognized what those of us who have been in the business have known for a long time. High-level sports rights will bring viewers to your platform. It’s been this way since the invention of radio—and nothing is changing.” That’s right. Nothing is changing in the world of the high-adrenaline arena of football.

The game is physical, and fans love it. But when it comes to streaming rights, the multi-million deals between the networks often become the bone of contention. That has been the way for a long time now. With rising popularity, they want to be on the top, riding on the shoulders of superstars like Travis Kelce.
