Is the clock ticking down for Will Levis? Tennessee had high expectations for Will as they kicked off the 2024 season with their new starting QB. But those hopes came crashing down as the team could barely manage three wins. Now, could those only three wins mark the end of Will’s time with Tennessee? Well, that’s what the situation looks like. And if that is the case, what are the odds that Russell Wilson could find his next home with the Titans in the coming season?

So, the Titans’ QB carousel is getting started. It looks like they are ready to hit the reset button on their QB situation. After the 2024 season, it seems reasonable why the team has lost faith in their young QB. Will Levis’ rookie season was not brilliant, but it was decent. The Kentucky alum got the chance to play up front as the starting QB, and that’s why the Titans were hoping to find their long-term answer in him. But Will just couldn’t. So, when you know that your QB room is causing more headaches than hope, why not explore other options? Enter NFL draft analyst and reporter Trevor Sikkema, who explains why Brian Callahan and the Titans might say goodbye to Will Levis.

Now that we are done with the Super Bowl, the upcoming draft and other offseason shenanigans are keeping us hooked to the league. Recently, Trevor dropped by The Rich Eisen Show. The duo had a long chat about the NFL Draft. Giving his two cents on the Titans’ QB situation, Trevor said, “I wouldn’t be somebody who’s giving up on Will Levis as a player, but unfortunately, it doesn’t really feel feasible for this team… It feels very difficult to sell to this fan base.”

Will had his shot, but he could only rack up 2,091 yards with just 13 TDs. On top of that, he threw 12 interceptions in his 12 games so far. The Titans also benched him in two games, adding to the disappointment. “It’s hard to think that his time as a starter with the Titans isn’t over, given the fact that he had every bit of opportunity to become that starter moving forward for them. And so I feel as though Levis is going to get a chance at some point somewhere else in the NFL,” added Trevor.

So, now that the Titans are reportedly in search of a new QB, who could they bring in next?

Too early to give up on him. Build a line and let him sit behind Wilson.

Could Russell Wilson be the answer to the Titans’ worries?

Russell Wilson‘s time with the Steelers has also ended on paper. The former Seahawks QB signed a one-year deal with the Steelers last March, but sadly, his journey with them started with injuries. Wilson’s comeback looked strong, but only for a few weeks. The Steelers Nation was disappointed in the Super Bowl champ, Russ. So, just like the Titans’ QB, Wilson’s future with his team is also uncertain. Although Russ has made it clear that he wants to stay in Pittsburgh, the team has not expressed the same desire.

And that’s the reason Pro Football Network‘s reporter Ben Rolfe thinks Russ might be a great choice for the Titans. Tennessee has the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. But for that to be valuable, there need to be strong options in the market. And that so far doesn’t seem to be the case. So, in that case, they either have the choice to go after someone fresh out of college football. Or take the veteran route, where Wilson seems like the best option.

Wilson would bring some stability to the quarterback room and is not a quarterback who will upset the fanbase every week with bad throws. Wilson will likely be looking for something more permanent. So this might be a deal that takes a while to develop. But this move could make sense for both sides in 2025,” predicted Ben.

And if Wilson does move on to the Titans, could Justin Fields take over the QB role for the Steelers? Well, there will be a lot of questions if that happens. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this QB carousel unfolds.
