That’s exactly where the Atlanta Falcons sides might be sharing the interest of making space for the veteran HC.

Many teams will look to grab the opportunity to secure the most experienced HC the NFL has ever seen but it will depend on Bill Belichick’s decision. As per reports, right now there seems to be a shared interest between Belichick and the Atlanta team to come together for the next season.

There are plenty of options open for the senior coach. For starters, teams like the Carolina Panthers might be interested in securing an experienced coach to turn matters around for themselves this off-season. Still, with choices open for him, Bill Belichick has shown interest in the Atlanta Falcons after they said goodbye to Arthur Smith. NFL Rumors on X shared the intriguing update by posting about it on the social media page.

They stated through their post, “The Atlanta Falcons and Bill Belichick have mutual interest on a deal for him to become head coach.” If this stands true then the Atlanta Falcons will be eyeing to clinch their first Super Bowl, since the team first played in 1965 under the esteemed leadership of the former Patriots’ HC.

Well, Bill Belichick definitely has it in him to do the unthinkable, as the Pats had never won the Lombardi trophy a single time before he joined the team. He made history with the team and he can likely revive one more team at the late end of his career. What all can Belichick bring to the table to turn over the Falcons’ misery, though?

The Atlanta Falcons’ defense has been up to the mark but their offense has been in question since the start of the season. The team has given 28 turnovers this year. On top of this, the offense has crossed the 30-point mark only once in the whole season.

With the experienced coach by their side, the Falcons will be eying towards improving their offense for the better and bringing the required consistency needed to secure a playoff berth.
