The Jets backup QB Tyrod Taylor isn’t going through a great time either on or off the field. After joining the Jets on a two-year $12M deal, Taylor hasn’t really seen the gridiron because of Aaron Rodgers. Now, it seems like his problems are not only limited to his professional life but also to his personal endeavours.

Taylor former partner, model actress Draya Michele (who he dated from 2020 to 2023) is refusing to leave his $3.2M home. This comes on the back of a mansion Taylor purchased back in August 2022. As per The Flight Mike on Instagram, then-Giants QB purchased Michele this mansion for $2.8M. And they had a handshake agreement that Draya could later claim ownership of the house when she was ready.

So, with the verbal agreement in her mind, Michele spent $300,000 on renovations and mortgage payments. And finally, when she was ready, Tyrod’s ex-girlfriend came with the offer of $2.8M. However, the Jets QB refused to accept that money and instead quoted a counteroffer of $3.2M to sell the house. Now, there’s more twist to the story. Tyrod even wanted Michele to pay $19,000 per month until she vacated the property.

Well, Tyrod wasn’t finished there. When he heard that his former girlfriend had acquired the ability to purchase the mansion. He asked for immediate proof of her funds before agreeing to sell the property. Now, the situation has become so bad that Tyrod Taylor sent officers to evict her from his property. This led to Michele filing a lawsuit against Taylor for a breach of the verbal agreement. Her lawsuit read, “On or about October 23, 2023, Draya and Tyrod memorialized the terms of their oral agreement by rating a Residential Lease Agreement with an Option to Buy Agreement.”

As per current status, Michele, who currently has a baby girl with NBA superstar Jalen Green and two other children from her previous relationships, has refused to leave the property. Since then, it’s been extremely hard to celebrate that day without remembering the earth-shattering phone call I received that morning.” 

But now Michele has left behind those negative memories as she continued, “Well, this Mother’s Day was different. My daughter was safely brought into the world and I’m forever grateful for the new memories we all get to experience moving forward.” As for Michele, this is her third child. She already had a 22-year-old son, Kniko, from her previous relationship. Then the reality star also has an eight-year-old son, Jrue, with another former NFL CB, Orlando Scandrick.

However, the two lovebirds have mostly kept their relationship private. But back in March 2024, Page Six found out that Green has Michele’s first name ‘Draya’ tattooed on his stomach. Although the two haven’t commented on it, Michele has often been captured watching Green play in the NBA. While the two continue their relationship with a baby girl, it remains to be seen whether her problem with Tyrod Taylor will get sorted or not.
