Tragedy strikes again for the New York Jets and fans. The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport tweeted, “The #Jets have placed CB Sauce Gardner on IR, ending his season with one game to go,” the news made a crash landing in the NFL world. Let’s dive into it.

Sauce Gardner suffered a hamstring injury against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, which got aggravated during the Bills game putting him on the injured reserve. This surely ends Gardner’s season. But before the injury, Sauce Gardner had played 15 games this season only to score 49 total tackles, out of which 36 were solo. In addition to that, he had sacked the opponent’s QB one time.
