Talk about adding insult to injury for the New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers! Just when you thought their rollercoaster of a season couldn’t pack any more surprises, here comes another twist right as the curtain’s about to fall on the regular season. It’s like the football gods just couldn’t resist throwing one last curveball their way – because, apparently, this soap opera needed one more dramatic episode before the finale!

The NFL’s football operations division has come up with an update for all teams in the NFL and it is hard for the teams and players. The list of players found this season for unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct on the field. And guess what? It includes NY Jets players, including Aaron Rodgers. But why was Aaron Rodgers fined?

During the Buffalo Bills matchup against the New York Jets. Which ended with the Bills dominating the Jets with a 40-14 score. In the 3rd quarter (7:33 time) of the same game, the veteran QB pushed the Bills No. 47 Christian Benford on the sideline after throwing an interception to him, when the Bills were leading the scoreboard read (12-0). Looks like Aaron Rodgers’ wallet is about to get a bit lighter! The NFL just handed him an $11,255 fine – talk about an expensive penalty flag. I guess even future Hall of Famers have to pay up when they play a little too rough!

After the nasty push, reporters asked Rodgers about the same, “I don’t think I pushed him very hard. Yeah, I was just chasing down the play.” Alright, it’s on tape for everyone to see, whether it was a push or save! Other than the Jets No.8, defensive lineman Micheal Clemons has also been fined for the unnecessary roughness in the same game. When Clemons jumped over unnecessarily on the pile during the rush by James Cook of the Bills. The refs weren’t the only ones who didn’t appreciate that spicy on-field behavior – the NFL just slapped Clemons with a $6,533 fine. That’s quite the expensive reminder to keep things cool on the gridiron!

As these things pile up for the Jets and their season is about to end with one game left against the Miami Dolphins, another update from the Jets has shocked the fans.

Tragedy strikes again for the New York Jets and fans. The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport tweeted, “The #Jets have placed CB Sauce Gardner on IR, ending his season with one game to go,” the news made a crash landing in the NFL world. Let’s dive into it.

Sauce Gardner suffered a hamstring injury against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, which got aggravated during the Bills game putting him on the injured reserve. This surely ends Gardner’s season. But before the injury, Sauce Gardner had played 15 games this season only to score 49 total tackles, out of which 36 were solo. In addition to that, he had sacked the opponent’s QB one time. Gardner’s stats also include nine pass defenses, including one interception. That was really impressive!
