Two of the best teams in the league this year and their best players are putting on a show. The Baltimore Ravens face off against the feared Miami Dolphins as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the minnows Arizona Cardinals. But both QBs have made it their day with special performances on the gridiron.

The superstars showed the reason for their stardom. Their big money payouts are because of the game-changing displays week-in and week-out. And in the penultimate week of the regular season, Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts have put up their contention for the NFL MVP 2023.

Against the Cardinals, the 25-year-old had a sublime performance. With 119 yards thrown and 2 TDs recorded, Hurts also reached a milestone he failed to get last season. The previous year, Hurts had a combined TDs of 35. He tied up with the Eagles legend Randall Cunningham for most TDs by a QB in a single season.

But with his second TD against the Cardinals, Hurts broke the record with 36 TDs. He has 21 TDs while throwing and 15 rushing TDs this season.

And many would wonder how Jalen Hurts could not become the MVP after this record-breaking season. But on the other side, Lamar Jackson is not stopping with his bombastic expression of skill on the field.

Lamar Jackson wants it one more time

“Honored to be in the conversation”, said Jackson after he disposed of the San Francisco 49ers. But he went one step further in the game against the Dolphins. Thumping the most scary offense in the league with a great offensive performance, the 26-year-old registered 4 TDs.

These 4 TDs take his total tally for the season to 24 TDs, 19 by throwing and 5 by rushing. The 2019 MVP winner is showing he is a big game player and that should not be ignored.
